Gurez Valley Trip Cost 

If you are traveling alone, you can rent a bike in Srinagar for a cost of 1500-2000 per day, excluding fuel. If you are traveling as a family, a couple, or a group of friends, you can hire a taxi in Kashmir’s capital Srinagar. You need to spend around 20000 for 3 days.

Gurez valley accommodation in a basic hotel will cost you around 5000 per night. Camping alone costs you 1300 for a tiny tent per night.

Day 1:Arrive

  • Srinagar is the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir resting at a height of 5,200ft. above sea level. The beauty of the city engulfs amidst the snow-clad mountains, luscious green valleys, and pristine lakes.
  • Dal Lake and the Shikara rides are the major attractions of the city. The serene beauty of this city will leave you astounded. Shalimar Bagh is another jewel to the beauty of this city.
  • Built-in the year 1619 by Jahangir, the garden has earned the prestige of the crown of Srinagar. One can also visit the Shankaracharya temple situated at the peak of Gopadari hill and it is a famous pilgrimage site amongst the Hindus.
  • The city is also a starting point to reach Sonamarg, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg. Night stay in houseboat.

Day 2:

  • Gulmarg is a beautiful hill station located at an altitude of 2730 meters. The drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg is one of its best driving experiences which you can have in your lifetime.
  • It is a hot spot for winter sports in India for adventure enthusiasts. we will do some activities like a sled ride or ski, a tv ride, snow bike ride.
  • After finishing all this we we will go for a gondola (cable car ride). After spending a few hours there we will go back to the hotel and stay for a night over there.

Day 3:Gulmarag to Pahalgam

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Gulmarg, before you embark on a picturesque drive to Pahalgam (The distance between  Gulmarg – Pahalgam is 140 Km and it takes approx 4 Hours ).
  • Pahalgam has been the location of many Bollywood movies inspiring many Bollywood fans to flock to the town to see the places where their favourite actors shot their scenes.Pahalgam’s natural beauty is relatively untouched and its exceptional natural beauty and pristine mountains attract every visitor into Kashmir to visit Pahalgam.
  • After your arrival in Pahalgam check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4:Gulmarg-Pahalgam

  • Today after breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Chandanwadi, the Starting point of Amarnath Yatra and Betab Valley ( where the movie Betab was shot), later in the afternoon you may choose to visit Aru Valley.
  • A tourist spot close to Pahalgam, This valley is famous for its scenic meadows and pristine mountains.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 5:

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Pahalgam. Check out on time for your transfer to the airport to take your return flight from Srinagar International airport with a good bunch of memories.
